Description

1. The Original Intent Behind the Brand Collaboration
IP Expansion: As the popularity of *Like a Kite* continues to rise among players, the developers aim to extend the in-game character designs (Secret Agents) from digital media into physical collectibles.
ShiningSoul’s Expertise: As a renowned domestic card game publisher, ShiningSoul is celebrated for its exquisite craftsmanship—such as the use of special techniques like cold foil stamping, holographic printing, and refractive effects—which perfectly complements *Like a Kite*’s beautiful art style and high-end visual design.
2. Design Philosophy: Capturing the Moment
“Shadows in the Heart”: The series is themed “Shadows in the Heart,” with the core concept being “distilling time and crystallizing memories.” The aim is to select the most heart-stirring moments of the spies from the game’s storyline and permanently capture them on physical cards.
Visual Style: Inspired by a tribute to in-game scenes such as “Heart Paper Residence” and “Yuan Chronicles,” the series uses the format of collectible cards to recreate the bonds between players and the male protagonists (Fu Rong, Liu Bian, Yuan Ji, Zuo Ci, Sun Ce) as well as popular spies.
3. Timeline of Development
Official Announcement & Pre-order: Pre-orders for this series officially opened on March 27, 2024.
Promotional Activities: To celebrate the launch, the official team simultaneously launched online mini-program interactions such as “Unlock Guka Time Archives,” where players had the chance to win the first batch of limited-edition products by participating.
4. Market Positioning of the Product
Collectible Nature: This is not merely a set of merchandise; it also incorporates elements of a TCG (Trading Card Game). The product features multiple rarity tiers, ranging from common story cards to extremely rare golden lucky number cards, catering to the collecting desires of players at all levels.
